Pentair OMNIFilter RS18 Whole House Sediment Water Filter Cartridge

The OMNI Filter's RS18 heavy-duty whole house spun polypropylene cartridges are designed to reduce the presence of sand, dirt, sediment, and rust particles, thereby helping to protect your plumbing and appliances from costly repairs due to clogging. These cartridges are a cost-effective solution for homes with sediment-related water quality issues, and they can be used with both chlorinated and non-chlorinated water supplies.

By removing dirt, sediment, and rust particles, these cartridges help to KEEP YOUR WATER CLEAN and protect your appliances. They are specifically designed to work best with OMNI Filter's BF7, BF9C, BF35, and BF36C filter systems, and they can also be used in any 10" Heavy Duty Housing, replacing any 10" x 4.5" sediment filter cartridge.

The GRADIENT DENSITY DESIGN of these cartridges allows for the trapping of sediment within the cartridge itself, rather than just on the outer layer, resulting in better flow rates and reduced pressure drop. Manufactured with 100% pure polypropylene, the cartridges are suitable for use with both municipal and well water supplies.

With a capacity of 30,000 gallons, these cartridges should be replaced every 6 months or when a drop in water pressure or water quality is noticed.
