OMNIFilter GAC1 cartridges are designed to effectively reduce unwanted tastes and odors, including chlorine taste and odor, from your drinking water. The cartridges are constructed to maximize the contact between the water and the carbon, ensuring optimal adsorption. The water enters the cartridge at one end and passes through the entire length of the carbon bed before exiting the other end, while an internal expansion pad minimizes channeling or bypass. Before the water exits the cartridge, a post-filter helps reduce carbon fines and other suspended particles from the filtered water. The post-filter is permanently fastened to an innovative support basket, ensuring that it is firmly secured and eliminating any potential for bypass.

These cartridges are designed to fit all 10" standard housing and can replace any 10" x 2.5" carbon filter. They effectively reduce coarse sediment, rust particles, and chlorine taste and odor down to 20 microns. The OMNIFilter GAC1 cartridges can be used in undersink drinking water filter systems on city or well water supplies, and they can be used on chlorinated or non-chlorinated water.

The cartridges have a 2,000-gallon capacity and should be replaced every 3 months or when you notice a drop in water pressure or water quality.
